Shopping in Rome

Rome is one of the best Italian cities for shopping! Many Roman streets are lined with shops and luxury boutiques where it’s easy to spend lots of time shopping and relaxing during your visit.

While on holiday in Rome, you can’t avoid a little healthy shopping!  There is so much selection, it’s hard to choose where to start! From luxury boutiques and more modest shops, or from outlets to big shopping centers, you’ll find whatever it is you’re looking for, and more.

Among the most famous streets for good shopping in Rome, Via dei Condotti is probably the most well known.  It is home to many luxury brands like Gucci, Prada, Fendi, Bulgari, Dior and many others.  Perpendicular to this street is Via del Corso, another famous street lined with clothing and show shops where you’ll find less expensive stores like H&M and Zara, the famous low-cost fashion chains.  Another street popular for shopping is Via Cola di Rienzo, not too far from the centre on foot or by metro at Ottaviano (line A). If you prefer to check out some markets in search of vintage items, we suggest  Porta Portese Maket, the historic market, open every Sunday. We also suggest the famous Campo dei Fiori Market to buy beautiful flowers, fruits and vegetables.

With public transport you can also reach the shopping centers located in center or and in the outskirts of Rome, where you can spend your free time between shops, bar and entertaiment for kids
