Matta. A Surrealist in Rome

Until Sunday, May 20, 2012 the Auditorium Parco della Musica will host the exhibition of Roberto Sebastian Matta

On the occasion of the centenary of the death of the great artist born in Chile in 1911 and died in Civitavecchia in 2002, the Auditorium hosts the exhibition devoted to the historical works by the artist during his stay in Rome between 1949 and 1954.


The exhibition will present 53 works, 14 paintings, 31 drawings and 8 sculptures by surrealist defined nomad and rebel, who has spent his life in Chile, his homeland, Italy and the rest of the world.
