The colors of the Avant-garde. Art in Romania

Until October 15, 2011 the Vittoriano Complex will host the exhibition dedicated to the great Masters of the Avant-garde in Romania from 1910 to 1950.

The exhibition displays the works of 24 artists from Romania, about 74 oils from the most important museums of Romania. In the works of artists you can see the coexistence of traditional Avant-garde and Modernism, during the period between the two world wars. The show, already set up in 2007 in Romania, has been very successful in the following years, first at the National Museum of Contemporary Art in Lisbon and in 2009 at the National Gallery in Prague.
