Body Worlds in Rome

Until February 12, 2012 you can see the real world of the human body with an exceptional exhibition of Dr. Gunther von Hagens.

With more than 33 million visitors, in sixty cities in the world,  "Body Worlds" has captured the attention of adults and children. Dr. Gunther von Hagens illustrates how the human body has never been done, making public information on the science of medicine and anatomy.


With the "plastination," a technique patented by the same von Hagens, the doctor has made ​​possible the preservation of tissues and organs to replace body fluid silicone polymers. This gives you the chance to see 200 authentic human body specimens.


Body Worlds is the only exhibition dedicated to the human anatomy, with its own donation program by the Institute for Plastination care of the bodies, which has about 13000 registered donors.
