To mark the 150 year anniversary of Italian Unification, the President of the Republic has promoted this exhibit which is dedicated to Italian women: aristocrats, common women, queens, religious women, and to the women of the Italian Risorgimento, who became real heroines.
From Anita Garibaldi to Cristina di Belgioioso and from Maria Sofia di Borbone to Clotilde di Savoia and Filumena Pennacchio and many others. The biggest names in Italian fashion wanted to pay homage to these heroic women by providing exceptional creations for the exhibit. Among the designers participating in this event are Salvatore Ferragamo, Fendi , Max Mara, Roberto Cavalli, Laura Biagiotti, Valentino, Gianfranco Ferré, Armani, Prada , Ermanno Scervino, Emilio Schuberth, Galitzine, Romeo Gigli, Gattinoni, Sarli, Missoni, Prada, Emilio Pucci and many more.
