L'Inverno Russo

From Thursday, March 3 to Sunday, May 8th, 2011 goes into staging a great exhibition on art and culture of the ancient Russian traditions.

More than 200 works from the most prestigious museums of the State of S. Petersburg - State Hermitage Museum, State Museum of Russia, Russian Ethnographic Museum, Museum-National Park Tsarskoye Selo "(former imperial residence), State Museum" Peterhof "(former imperial residence), State Museum of Theater and Music St. Petersburg, representing the traditions of the winter festivities of the Court of the Russian Tsar.


Among the objects of the most prestigious paintings by Boris Kustodiev, the slide of Tsar Nicholas II, the sleigh carnival of the thirteenth century., the costumes of the famous Dance of the Winter Palace in 1903 held to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the founding of city in 1703 and the costumes of the dance "Veronese" named after the Italian Renaissance.
