St Lawrence is the old Roman neighborhood, today known as the university district of Rome, given its proximity to La Sapienza university. The area that outlines the neighborhood starts roughly from Porta Maggiore, one of the beautiful Roman gates that are part of the Aurelian Walls. After admiring the splendor of these ancient Roman monuments continued in the heart of the district up to the beautiful church of St Lawrence Outside the Walls, one of the oldest churches in Rome. During your journey you will be able to stop and taste the typical Roman one of the many restaurants, pizzerias and restaurants of St Lawrence District. The district is in fact very popular among young people and adults to the large number of rooms and cocktail bars. After you can visit the Verano Cemetery, the most famous of Rome with the Flaminio Cemetery. The itinerary ends here, you can get back to the Tiburtina Train Station or take the subway, stop at Porta Maggiore.
