This is the right itinerary for those who want to have fun in Trastevere! Trastevere is one of the most popular and historic neighborhoods in Rome and is very popular with Romans and tourists alike, who gather every night in the many clubs and restaurants.
It is highly recommended to walk from one place to another since all the locations are in Trastevere.
It takes about 8 hours to visit all of the sites mentioned, depending on how much time you decide to stay in each place.
The fun tour of Trastevere starts from Ponte Sisto. At the end of the bridge, you’ll arrive in Trilussa Square, the center of Trastevere. The square is dedicated to Carlo Alberto Salustri, a popular roman poet. Pass through the square and take Via di ponte Sisto until you reach Via della Lungara. Turn right and then turn left onto Via Corsini where the Botanical Garden of Rome is located. If you are lover of rare species of flowers and vegetables, we suggest you visit this beautiful park! Now go back onto Via della Lungara and take Via della Scala to get to the Rome Museum in Trastevere, which contains the history of the neighborhood. After the museum we suggest you visit Our Lady's in Trastevere Basilica. Here you can stop for a break in one of the many restaurants or bars in Trastevere District. The fun tour of Rome continues at the Temple of Bramante, on Via Goffredo Mameli. From here we suggest you continue onto Gianicolo, one of the best panoramic views of Rome, and take some pictures! If you're not too tired, come back down into Trastevere and continue your roman adventure in the lively nightlife with a cocktail at one of the many bars or exclusive clubs!
