Description

The coolest spot to have drinks with friends and dinner in Prati is called Sorpasso, a trendy cocktail bar/restaurant perfect for aperitif, dinner or after dinner. This cozy spot has a row of tables outside, perfect for a sunny day's lunch and/or an evening aperitif, located on a quiet street near the vatican. Its quite popular with young professionals working in the area who show up promptly after work for drinks and dinner, and to relax and unwind after a long day. The wine list at Sorpasso is impressive and it is regularly updated with the best quality wines and spirits. To accompany that, their prosciutto counter is a sight to see, with a wide array of hanging prosciuttos from Italy and Spain. The preferred snack creation that we simply can't get enough of would have to be their "trapizzino" sandwiches, which are made with fried pizza dough that is then sliced open and filled like a sandwich with typical roman dishes such as: meatballs in tomato sauce, chicken alla cacciatora, chicken and green peppers, eggplant parmiggiano and many others.
