Description
The Argentina Theater, owned by the Sforza Cesarini family, was inaugurated in 1732 with the opera "Berenice" by Domenico Sarro. The Theater is located not far from Pantheon Rome, in Largo di Torre Argentina where, in ancient times, stood the great hall known as the Curia Pompeii (where Julius Caesar was killed). In the Argentina Theatre was performed the "Barber of Seville" by Rossini. Today are represented theater and dance exhibitions occasionally performed in English and it's good alternative for your nightlife in Rome.
