Description
St Mary's Priory Church is one of the most beautiful churches in Rome, located close to Cavalieri di Malta Square, also known as Santa Maria de Aventino. The church is located within Vuille of the Priory of Malta and still belongs to the order of the Knights of Malta. The Church has one nave and a decorated altar. There are also various works of art and frescoes, including a Madonna dating from the 12th century and the tomb of Piranesi, who restored the roman church.
