Description

The Roman Pantheon is a large temple dedicated to all Pagan gods of Ancient Rome, built at the time of Emperor Hadrian in 126 AD. It' s well known for its strange circular shape. The Pantheon is one of the best preserved monuments in Rome, located close to Navona Square. Legend tells that this monument stands in the place where Romulus, the founder of Rome, was picked up by an eagle and taken to heaven among the gods after his death. The pantheon oculus is about 7 meters in diameter and when it rains, water falls on the floor in the centre and drains away quickly thanks to the well-studied system put in place.

If you are near this church when its raining just go inside and stare at the hole in the roof and how the water doesnt fall in the place...
