Description

Campo dei Fiori is a roman square located between the Tiber River and Navona Square. According to legend, the square took its name from Flora, a woman loved by Pompeo. It is always colorful thanks to the ever-present flower vendors (Fiore in Italian means flower) and it's also famous for Giordano Bruno's statue (the philosopher who was burnt to death for his ideas). It's a very popular place in the evening for its bars, pubs and restaurants, while in the morning you can buy fresh fruits, vegetables and of course, flowers at Campo dè Fiori Market.
