Description

Via del Governo Vecchio (old government street) was named in 1755 when the seat of the Papal Government was moved from here to Palazzo Madama. Today Via del Governo Vecchio has many interesting buildings and shops from the fifteenth and sixteenth century. In recent years, it has become one of the most popular places in Rome because of the many restaurants, trendy clubs and boutiques.
