Description

Via Nazionale is one of the most famous and busy streets of the Capital. Its history dates back to 800 when he felt the need for a connection between Termini Train Station and Via del Corso, which was then regarded as the central point in Rome. Via Nazionale was intended from the outset to be the center of the Roman bourgeois life. Around it were built the first large hotels in Rome, but also luxury homes and prestigious boutiques. Today the street is still home to large hotels and designer shops, it is a favorite destination for shoppers. Via Nazionale are also the locations of the Palazzo delle Esposizioni, Eliseo Theater and St Paul's Outside the Walls Basilica. To reach Via Nazionale you can take the subway (Line A) and get off at stop "Repubblica",( Repubblica's Square).
