Description

At the far end of Piazzale Flaminio (in correspondence with the bus and subway stops Flaminio - People's Square line A) you’ll find a small train station connecting the city centre with the suburban station in Montebello. Trains leave every 10 and 15 minutes and make several several stops. Flaminio Train Station is the terminus of the railway connecting Roma - Civita Castellana - Viterbo, and was the first electrical connection between the capital and the Tuscia. Trains are categorized as urban for destinations between flaminio and Montebello, and suburban for destinations like Civita Castellana or Viterbo, which are a bit farther north of Rome and leave less frequently.
